Tim is a dental hygienist, speaker, writer, teacher, consultant and now part of the corporate world. He is an active member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy. In 2017, Tim qualified as a Buteyko Breathing Practitioner and has successfully coached many people who are now happily benefiting from nasal breathing.
We have written this book for everyone who is currently breathing! Humans are meant to be nose breathers. Each story represents a person we have encountered in our practices and travels. Their signs and symptoms and life stories may remind you of friends or family members who are mouth breathers. We have included our own stories of switching from mouth to nose breathing. For five decades Trisha has been a dental hygienist, author, speaker, instrument designer and leader in her field. She also completed training in both Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy and Buteyko Breathing. She has authored more than 300 articles for dental and dental hygiene journals and a cartoon book based on her research entitled: The Toothpaste Secret.
